System Requirements

The following are minimum system requirements to successfully install and run Amigo Point of Sale:

Operating System

•	Microsoft® Windows XP Pro SP2 (Recommended)

•	Microsoft® Windows XP Home SP2

•	Microsoft® Windows XP Corp SP2

•	Microsoft® Windows Vista

•	Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 (SP1 Recommended)

•	Microsoft® Windows Server 2008

*Microsoft® Windows XP Pro Required for PCCharge Payment Server

Hardware (click here to view recommended hardware)

•	512 MB Ram (1GB Recommended)

•	Pentium 4 or better

•	Monitor capable of 800x600 screen resolution

Network

•	Users with more than one terminal or remote printers must ensure that the terminals (and print servers, if applicable) are connected to a stable, reliable and secure network. Wired networks are preferred for maximum reliability; a properly configured wireless network will also suffice.

*PCCharge Payment Server users running IP transactions must ensure that a reliable DSL internet connection is available and that a backup modem is available for dial-up processing in the event of network interruption.
