Amigo Point Of Sale includes the ability to view all regular menu, bar menu, pizza menu and retail items on the order entry screen. Any of these menu types can be disabled when not in used and any menu can be set as the default menu for each order type. For example, the pizza menu can be set as the default for the Delivery order type and the bar menu can be the default menu for the Bar order type.

The order entry screen provides easy access to most common ticket functions and offers the user the ability to restrict access to functions based on the user permission. Refer to the image
| 1. | Quantity: Press the change the quantity of a ticket item or to remove a ticket item |
| 2. | Active Guest: Press to change the active guest. Available only for order types that assign ticket items to guests |
| 3. | Hold/Fire: Press to toggle the hold/fire status of a ticket item. Available only for ticker items that have not been previously sent to remote printers |
| 4. | Discounts: Press to add or modify discounts |
| 5. | Ticket Scroll Up/Down: Press to scroll ticket items |
| 6. | Suspend: Press to hold all items on the ticket |
| 7. | Submit" Press to save order |
| 8. | Settle: Press to open ticket on settlement screen |
| 9. | Credit: Press to settle using credit card transaction type |
| 10. | Cash: Press to settle using cash transaction type |
| 11. | Ticket Information: Press to view or modify ticket information |
| 12. | Order Options: Press to add a kitchen instruction for the ticket |
| 13. | Item Options: Press to add a kitchen instruction for the selected item |
| 14. | Print Receipt: Toggle button to enable/disable receipt printing |
| 15. | Log out: Press to log out |
| 16. | Cancel ticket: Press to cancel ticket and exit |
| 17. | Menu Categories: Press to view additional regular menu categories |
| 18. | Order Type: Press to change order type |
| 19. | Guests: Press to change the number of guests |
| 20. | Regular Menu: Press to view regular menu categories |
| 21. | Bar Menu: Press to view pizza sizes |
| 22. | Pizza Menu: Press to view bar menu categories |
| 23. | Retail: Press to switch to wide screen ticket for retail item entry |
| 24. | Misc Item: Press to add a MISC item to the ticket using the on-screen keyboard |
